Halfway to Heaven

Halfway to Heaven

In 2001 Terence wrote, directed and photographed this theatrical documentary film about the roots of the game of Polo. Filming was in the Himalayas and Kashmir, at altitudes varying between 4,000 and 6,000 meters. Shooting was on 35 mm film in temperatures that varied daily between -15 degrees at night and +40 degrees during the day and sometimes in dust storms. The Karakorum Highway from Islamabad in Pakistan, through Kashmir to China was traveled many times braving rock falls and land slides.

Written by Guy Greville-Morris, this story was an idea by and features the singer Matt Moerdock and his group, The Voodoo Ding Institute. Terence directed and photographed the half hour film, shot on Super 16mm, in Paris.
